Utility Model Application

Due to the Law No.551  related with the Protection of the Patents; once an invention is applied , it is forwarded to examination for 3-5 months time.

If there is not any grounds of refusal, the application is published on the monthly  Patent Bulletin for 3 months.

The 3 months publication period is also opposition term for 3rd parties .

If there is not any opposition at the end of the publication period, the registration decision is issued.

The time to obtain registration is nearly about 10-12 months from the application date.

The protection period is 10 years from the application date and is not subject to renewal.

We also search the invention before application on our special database and on TPI database basen on the company name or title  and report the registratibility of the design in a day. This is charged due to the time spent on time.
